Payment Policy
Last updated May 2026. GandaStay is a business service operated by AGEA Realty OPC.
This policy applies to bookings made through GandaStay-powered booking pages.
How Payment Works
Payment is made directly to the property using the payment method shown on the booking page or booking status page (typically GCash, Maya, or bank transfer). GandaStay does not receive, hold, or process guest payments.
Deposit Required to Hold Your Booking
A deposit is required upfront to secure your booking. The deposit amount depends on the length of your stay:

The property may apply a different deposit rule. The deposit amount that applies to your booking will be shown on the booking review page before you submit.
Booking Hold Window
Once you submit a booking request, your selected room is held for 12 hours (or the hold period shown at booking). If payment proof is not uploaded within that window, the booking may expire and the room will be released.
Submitting Payment Proof
After paying, upload a clear screenshot or image of your payment confirmation through your booking status page. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC. Maximum file size: 5MB.
Uploading proof does not automatically confirm your booking. The property will review your proof and confirm or reject the booking based on their review.
The property may reject proof that is unclear, incomplete, sent to the wrong account, shows an incorrect amount, appears altered, or cannot be verified.
Balance Payment
If a balance is due after your deposit, it must be paid by the date shown on your booking status page or booking confirmation. For stays of 8 or more nights where check-in is more than 7 days away, the balance is typically due 7 days before check-in.
Security Deposit
Some properties collect a refundable security deposit at check-in. The amount, if applicable, will be shown during booking. The security deposit is returned within 7 days after check-out, subject to room inspection.
Failed or Late Payment
If payment is not received or verified within the hold window, the property may mark your booking as expired and release the room. GandaStay is not responsible for rooms lost due to missed payment deadlines.
Payment Disputes
Payment disputes, refund requests, and settlement issues are handled directly between the guest and the property. GandaStay may provide booking records and audit logs to help resolve disputes but does not mediate or adjudicate payment outcomes.
