Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy applies to bookings made through GandaStay-powered booking pages.
Cancellation Rules
Cancellation and refund rules are set by the property and may vary per property, room type, rate, season, or booking arrangement. The cancellation policy that applies to your booking is shown on the booking review page and saved with your booking record.
GandaStay default cancellation policy (applies where the property has not set a custom rule):

Properties may apply a stricter, more flexible, or fully custom cancellation policy. The policy shown at the time of your booking is the one that applies.
How to Request a Cancellation
Contact the property directly using the contact details on your booking confirmation or booking status page. A cancellation request is not automatically processed. The property will review your request and confirm the outcome.
Refund Processing
Refunds, if approved, are returned through the original payment channel. Refund processing times depend on the bank, wallet, or payment service used. GandaStay does not process or issue refunds — refunds are handled by the property.
No-Show
If you do not arrive on your check-in date without prior notice to the property, your booking may be marked as a no-show. No-show bookings are generally non-refundable unless the property decides otherwise.
Property-Initiated Cancellations
If the property cancels a confirmed booking due to an operational issue, overbooking, emergency, or other valid reason, the property is responsible for communicating with you and handling any applicable refund or alternative arrangement. GandaStay may provide records to support resolution but is not a party to the refund decision.
Security Deposit
The security deposit collected at check-in is separate from the booking cancellation policy. It is always refundable after check-out as long as there is no room damage, regardless of cancellation history.
